In the last week or two I’ve spotted some really nice vintage 70s 3-speed bikes around the west end, and eyed them jealously. Here in Glasgow we’re too cool for fixies: hub gears and comfy saddles are the real way forward.

A couple of items of microtonal interest: Jon Catler’s guitar and Catherine M’s blog (just under the photo of the garden). And thanks to my excellent sister-in-law Susan for the description of Adam Curtis’s All Watched Over … as ‘mind candy’.
