No day off this weekend, oh well. I'm a bit tired after some very intensive listening at the Distil Showcase in Stirling last night, but it was great to be in an audience with an almost tangible sense of support and expectation: there were a lot of musicians in there. Dave Francis pointed out that if the roof fell in, a large proportion of Scotland's harp players would be lost: so there was plenty of interesting conversation as well as interesting music. Simon Thoumire was wielding his new video camera throughout - and I just tripped over some video of last year's showcase.

Amongst the things dropping through the letterbox in the last few days have been copies of this (which I won't have time to read for ages, much as I would like to) and this, complete with my booklet notes translated into seven other languages. In Gaelic I appear as Dáithí Mac Aonghusa which I hope doesn't offend too many Gaels.
