You get a better-educated class of guisers round our way. Susie has just gone out to go round the houses in her costume made of crocheted plastic bags, along with a flapper girl, an orphan Annie, an Arthur Dent, and a walking Le Fils de l'Homme by Magritte (complete with picture frame).

Have been listening to the Debussy, Ravel and Granados piano roll recordings on Spotify while clearing today's admin backlog. Even with the limitations of the recording and playback systems, it still seems more interesting to hear the composers playing their music, rather than someone else's cover versions. Then I settled on Erik Satie's Vexations (not played by him) which don't tire the ear as much as you would think.
