It feels like I'm slowly coming out of musical hibernation. I spent a little time this morning improvising into the computer on top of the clunky reggae groove I'd put down just before bed last night, and then started to engage with the contents of forthcoming concerts (now listed here) by phoning up musicians and putting programmes together. I might even play some exercises and get my fingers working a bit before the day is out.

Strange to be planning music again just in time for No Music Day tomorrow. Speaking of which, New York readers might be able to hear me and Bill Drummond on WNYC's Soundcheck program(me) tomorrow afternoon.
