Today is forecasted to be the hottest day ever on record in the UK. Not ideal for getting all the things done I would like to, before heading to Canada: practising (had forgotten it's four years since I last played the Balbastre sonate en quatuor that's in Sunday's broadcast), packing, gardening, laundry, and various bits of business to tidy up. Strange for it to be too hot to go outdoors in Glasgow. At least the laundry will get dry.
It looks like the dates won't work out for a possible gig in Moscow that came up for December - shame.
