on the Stansted express
I've just had a long and enthusiastic conversation with the train conductor about headphones. He said he could tell by my white Sennheiser PX-100s that I loved music. He agreed with me that Grados are very good but a bit on the bright side, and that PX-100s still beat everything else hands down on the value for money front. Bose, Koss, Beyer, he couldn't really get excited about. I thought he was just going to check my ticket.
Stansted airport, 30 minutes' delay today
Exhausted.
home again
Lots of email to deal with: Lion CD business, choosing music for Nova Scotia in a month's time, and picking the car up from the garage.
At yesterday's concert I asked the audience to come up and tell me afterwards what they thought of Schetky's music. The most interesting response was Graham Kean's, who said it sounded like Haydn on a quirky day. If you're still wondering 'why dolphins?' the answer, or lack of it, is here.
